A very special presentation of Pop d’Epoque’s Party Like it’s 1699 with a performance from Hua Li 化力 in SAT’s state of the art, 33-channel dome. Hua Li’s performances can only be described as flawless, flowing effortlessly between femme fatale MC and her pacifying, soulful hooks. Prepare to be enchanted. Hua Li will be joined on stage by Gloze, with live visuals by Frances Adair McKenzie.

¡FLIST!’s monumental Fuck You Im Dead gets the royal treatment, in co-presentation with Pop d’Epoque and SAT.  This unique performance features ¡FLIST! as a four-piece, with Peggy Hogan (Hua Li) on keys, Nick Schofield (Saxsyndrum) on percussion, and Marc-Andre Roy (Rakam) on bass guitar, taking us through the new album. The entire performance will be set to visuals by resident SAT artist and ¡FLIST! co-conspirator Frances Adair McKenzie.

This follow up to last year’s Future Circus sees the duo at odds, each taking to their own side of the limited cassette. Nick’s drum side brings the listener into a geological expedition of percussion, bringing out the hidden musicality of the rhythm section. The sax side has all the honk, and skronk you’d expect densely layered under a swathe of clicks, and pops that take you from soaring through the air, right back down to the dance floor.

The cassette also features beautiful silkscreen work from Malcolm Remple with a smooth as silk neon fade. There are only fifty copies to get on them while their still around!.
